Yuma Clinical Trials is an independent, multi-specialty research site conducting Phase 1-4 inpatient and outpatient studies across five clinic locations in Yuma. Our investigators operate their own private practices, including the largest cardiology and pulmonology practices in the county, so study volunteers come from real patient panels rather than advertising alone. Yuma is a growing city with a population of approximately 100,000 in the Southwestern corner of Arizona. Located within a 2.5 hour drive to either Phoenix or San Diego, as well as having its own international airport, Yuma is easily accessible for regional or even national CRAs. Yuma has historically not had a clinical research infrastructure for pharmaceutical companies and CROs to tap into until recently as our company founders have brought decades of experience to the underserved desert community. Capabilities
At YCT, our hybrid research clinic model combines independent private practices with dedicated research staff in order to better serve our patients and pharmaceutical sponsors. Our Site has adopted e-source and e-regulatory solutions to more efficiently manage phase 1-4 inpatient or outpatient studies across a wide variety of indications and offered to a diverse and mostly research naive patient database of adults and adolescents. Hypertension trials conducted at YCT, including a program currently in start-up, with patients drawn from our internal medicine and cardiology practices.

Multiple Phase III type 2 diabetes programs conducted, including studies in patients with cardiovascular disease, drawn from a large and mostly research-naive diabetic population.

Phase III plaque psoriasis experience, with dermatology research conducted through our affiliated dermatology practice in Yuma.

Active cardiovascular portfolio including Phase III trials in heart failure and atrial fibrillation, conducted with Yuma’s largest cardiology private practice.

Phase II and III trials conducted in major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder at our dedicated CNS research location.

Multiple osteoarthritis programs conducted, including Phase III trials. Yuma’s older population makes OA one of our strongest recruiting indications.
